7-day tours to Armenia

Day 1 Arrival in Yerevan. Transfer to the hotel. Guided Tour to Yerevan. Republic Square, the Opera Theatre, Victory Park. A visit to one of the largest repositories of ancient manuscripts in the world Matenadaran. Lunch at the restaurant. The architectural complex Cascade. Walk in the center of Yerevan. Return to the hotel.

Day 2 Drive to Echmiadzin the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians. UNESCO World Heritage Site). Temples Hripsime and Gayane. A visit to the ruins of Zvartnots - the greatest temples of early medieval Armenian architecture and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Yerevan and visit to Ararat Brandy Factory and tasting.

Day 3 Departure with luggage. Khor Virap ('' deep dungeon ''), which offers one of the most beautiful views of the biblical Mount Ararat. Then we head to the south of Armenia, Noravank monastery complex built in the XIII. Nearby is the Cave of Birds, which recently found the world's oldest leather shoe and a winery. Day 6 Tour to Garni - Fortress (I-XIII c. AD) in which there is a unique monument of ancient architecture of Armenian pagan temple of the Sun God ('66), the remains of others constructions (I - X centuries). Tour to monastery complex Gegardavank ("monastery spears", founded in the IV. BC.. The architectural complex was built in the XIII century. Gegard - biblical spear, which, according to tradition, the apostle Thaddeus has brought to Armenia in Ic.. Ayrivank name associated with the cave part of the complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Lunch at Geghard. Return to Yerevan.

Day 7 Walking through the city, visiting the vernissage. Lunch. Transfer to the hotel and the airport.
